Jason McMillan

Jason McMillan is the president and founder of Innovise Business Consultants. He grew up in a ranching family in Colorado that instilled values in him that he holds today. Self-reliance, perseverance, his “get it done” attitude, the ability to operate on a team and/or by himself, and the value of family and relationships are all qualities that he saw on a daily basis and learned to embrace.

Although Jason has worked every blue-collar job you can think of, including ranching, construction, and underground coal mining, his first job out of college was working for an insurance agency in Northern Colorado. What began as a job quickly became his passion, as he is able to tap into his core values and skill set to make a real impact for his clients. He thrives on analyzing the business of his clients, understanding how they make money, and uncovering their challenges and opportunities. Then he structures programs that will best protect their assets, taking advantage of the best risk financing tools and improving their businesses long term. He believes by being a true partner with the client, a synergy develops that will help achieve the best results.

Jason received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2004 in Business Finance from the University of Northern Colorado. He was born and raised on the Western Slope of Colorado and now resides in Westminster with his wife, Sarah, and their three children.

Mary Cole

Mary Cole is vice president at Innovise Business Consultants. She grew up in Kansas and takes pride in her Midwestern roots. She has 28 years of insurance experience and has built her industry knowledge on years of continuing education and practical experience. Mary has expertise in providing creative and unique risk management solutions by working closely with clients in the construction, real estate, and oil and gas industry segments to establish corporate and financing goals and objectives. She is proactive in researching, designing, and implementing programs that meet those specific goals.

At Innovise, Mary is responsible for all aspects of account management, including the overall program design, marketing, and placement of property and casualty programs. She also coordinates the services of the entire account team such as account management, market solutions, claims management and risk control with the rest of the company. Her passions are developing relationships with Innovise clients and company partners and using her problem-solving skills to achieve positive results.

Mary received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1970 from the University of Texas in Austin.

Mike McNeil

Mike McNeil is the Director of Risk Control at Innovise Business Consultants. Prior to joining the Innovise team, he has served in senior leadership roles at various construction, energy, and manufacturing organizations. He grew up on the east coast and has been in Colorado for over 25 years.

Mike’s extensive expertise and proven track record of integrating safety, quality, and training to maximize operational performance and efficiency for national and international companies has created trusted advisor environments serving executive management and operational teams. With his business acumen and team building approach, Mike has led companies to substantially lower their safety and quality incident rates and subsequently their overall cost of risk.

At the core of his success, Mike is able to assist companies grow their operations and advancing their culture while improving bottom-line results through improved employee knowledge and accountability.

At Innovise, Mike is responsible for all aspects of risk control. He works directly with client teams to understand and assess their exposures while working to assist them in achieving their goals. His passion is building relationships while learning about his clients and partnering with them to resolve their challenges relating to workers compensation, fleet/DOT, OSHA, environmental and training.

Mike has a civil engineering degree from Northeastern University and has authored/presented materials on the integration of safety and training into operation and advancing safety cultures in companies.
