OSHA stated the ETS will go into effect immediate upon publication in the Federal Register and remain in place until “OSHA finds a greave danger from the virus no longer exist for the covered workforce (or some portion thereof), or new information indicates a change in measures necessary to address the grave danger and is subject to updates.

A short list of items addressed in the ETS include: wearing of masks, notifications and tracking for employees exposed to the virus, screening for patents and employees, precautions for unvaccinated employees, as well as requirements for ventilation and barriers.
